Applications to be part of next year's StatesMUN delegation are now open.
One of UNYA Australia's principle international activities, StatesMUN is a
once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for tertiary students to visit the United
States, take in the attraction of five of the world's greatest cities,
attend workshops in the world's top universities, and take part in one of
the most prestigious Model UN conference in the world: Harvard National
Model United Nations.
In 2010, the Harvard Model United Nations will take place from February 11
to February 14, with the StatesMUN delegation touring the United States for
a two-week period ahead of the commencement of the conference. During the
tour, delegates will have the opportunity to participate in consultations
with diplomats, NGOs and congressmen and take part in in-depth meetings with
UN personnel.
This opportunity is open to all Australian citizens under 25 years of age
and studying at a tertiary institution at the conclusion of the conference
on 14 February 2010.
