This is a final call for abstracts for the September Youth Health Forum.  If you wish to submit your abstract and haven't already done so, please send them to us by June 15 (Monday).  The program will be finalised in July, we will be in touch again in due course.

The 2nd Adolescent and Young People’s Health Research Forum

 

 

Call for Abstracts

 

You are warmly invited to participate in this special one day Forum as a presenter of an oral paper or to attend as a participant, on 7 September 2009.  The Youth Health Forum Organising Committee, in conjunction with the Family and Community Health Research Group, University of Western Sydney, will be hosting this one-day forum looking at youth health research and the use of evidence to improve youth health care.

 

The Forum will take place in the Lorimer Dods Lecture Theatre, Level 4 at The Children's Hospital at Westmead and will provide an opportunity for delegates to network with each other and hear about the most recent research in youth health care.

 

Abstracts for a 15 minute presentation and 5 minutes question time should be on either:

 

§          Current youth health research, in progress or complete

§          The use of evidence to improve youth health care

 

All submitted abstracts will be considered on the basis of individual merit and their connection with the theme of in youth health research. Please note that abstracts with direct involvement of young people (12-24 years old) in any aspects of the research will be given priority.  Please note that speakers must register to attend the Forum. There are limited places available so register early to avoid disappointment. 

How to Submit

1.      Please e mail the attached submission form in MS Word.

2.      Name the file with the presenter’s family name.
