The 8th ISPCAN Asia-Pacific Regional Conference on Child Abuse and
Neglect's (APCCAN 09) exciting youth-led Online Young Participants
Program (YPP) will be re-launched on Saturday 31st
October on Facebook to broadcast the voices, visions and actions of young people aged 14
to 25 years across the Asia-Pacific region.
If you’re aged 14-25 yrs JOiN the “YOUth CAN –Prevent Child Abuse” Facebook group by simply following these 4 steps:

(3) JOiN as a YOUth Can - Prevent Child
Abuse group member
(4) Invite your friends aged 14 - 25
years of age to join!
This is your chance to join an ongoing International network of young people
concerned about ending child abuse and neglect!
“YOUth CAN –
Prevent Child Abuse” gives young people the opportunity to ask questions,
share stories and have their say on child abuse by taking part in:
· Online discussion threads with key Conference
experts and delegates;
· Video gallery postings/threads of Keynote
Conference Speakers;
· Audiovisual Conference forums including
photos, podcasts and videos;
· Online opinion polls;
and, most importantly...
· Sharing your
own videos, pictures, text and
links to school, community and global projects, with people who are creating
safer, friendlier places for young people to grow up in!
